Bipolar Type II Support Group

I recently had been given a referral by my therapist for a support group by none of my emails or phone calls were ever responded to, so that's how I thankfully found this site.

My therapist is a LCSW & is absolutely fantastic, but I know she won't be in business forever We've considered group therapy on previous occasions, but just like this last time the groups have never seemed to be active when I've tried checking them out.

Welcome to the group! I went to a support group near my hometown and was actually disappointed. They did respond to my email though never told me it was an open group and anyone with a mental disorder as well as friends and family. They also had rules that seemed to me were counter productive. I was told it was a bi-polar II support group in a ways it was but it was also for everyone else. I never did go back.

This had been the best place for me. People here are very helpful, caring, and supportive.

Even when the going gets tough I know I can always come here to get the help I need.
