MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

I was diagnosed with BPII in '06 (although i've struggled with the symptoms for decades of my life) Sad

I recently had been given a referral by my therapist for a support group by none of my emails or phone calls were ever responded to, so that's how I thankfully found this site. Smile jacuzzi

Welcome to the group. That is aggravating that a support group would not return your calls--very strange really. Well I am glad you are here and we will always respond to you!

Hi & thank you. Yes I think it w/b very helpful since it's not really safe for me to be out there driving with some of these meds. i'm on Unsure

My therapist is a LCSW & is absolutely fantastic, but I know she won't be in business forever Sad We've considered group therapy on previous occasions, but just like this last time the groups have never seemed to be active when I've tried checking them out.

Welcome SpaQueen,

Welcome to the group! I went to a support group near my hometown and was actually disappointed. They did respond to my email though never told me it was an open group and anyone with a mental disorder as well as friends and family. They also had rules that seemed to me were counter productive. I was told it was a bi-polar II support group in a ways it was but it was also for everyone else. I never did go back.

This had been the best place for me. People here are very helpful, caring, and supportive.

Even when the going gets tough I know I can always come here to get the help I need.

peace & hugs
Rick

Hi Rick thank you. Yes so far this seems to be a much better alternative. Particularly since this gives us all such many more options to interact with one-another. I appreciate your feedback ; )
