MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

Hi, I have just been released from the hospital where i have had some meds changed due to the others not working so well. I know I was released to soon and it was my fault they wanted to keep me longer. I have had a lot of changes in my life which has not helped, I have moved from Mass to TX and hate it! My husband is getting deployed shortly and while in the emergency room of the hospital we got a call my step son totaled our truck. There has been many other things but that is just the most recent. I was happy to find this forum and hope to find someone to chat with.

Hi, honey! Welcome! (Not gonna call ya "crazy"!)

So sorry that so much has happened in such a short time; the added stress may make it a bit tougher to tell if the meds are working or if the stress is skewing the results a little. Give it time; you may indeed have gone home too early, but if you need to go back, go back! I know you don't want to waste a moment with your husband, but he can spend time with you there; you did get to have visitors, right? My now-husband came every day when I was hospitalized, e few years ago, and my med changes worked great! I was so glad I went, sometimes I want to go back! (But I don't want get sick enough to back, lol!)

I'm very glad you found us; we're here anytime for chats, hugs, support and advice. Sometimes we cry, sometimes we laugh. It all helps!

Blessings, Jeni

My advice is free, completely anecdotal, and comes from my own experience. Always talk to your doctor before you change anything.

It seems like everything is landing on you at once but you can probably better deal with it from home rather than the hospital, just keep in close touch with your doctors so that they know how you're doing and can monitor your meds closely. I wish i could help more but we are all here to talk to you when you're feeling down, or up for that matter, it's nice to hear from people who are doing well sometimes too. Just try to take things slowly and not overburden your mind with details right now and remember to stay in touch with your docs.

Welcome. I am sorry to hear about your bad news. I do hope the meds kick in, but like Jeni said, please go back to the hospital if you need to. Remember it is only temporary and you are under loads of stress. Keep talking to us!
