Glad to hear you have a appointment coming up soon, I go back to see my PDOC on the 26th, and have to reset a appointment that my therapist had to cancel, nice thing about where I work, I see her from time to time shopping..

I'm not sure about what all those medications are, but ask them about some kinda mood stabilizer.. maybe that will help, I am currently on lamictal..got off all the other meds I was on, paxil, welbutrin, remeron, and Xanax..

Hey mamorandy, evreyones right about needing a doc to dx you, but i can tell you, when i look at the years before i was diagnosed, i remember feeling like you all the time, scared to be happy becasue i knew something would happen to bring me crashing to the floor again. it sux to be scared to be happy. who should have to live like that. whatever your dx is, i hope you find out soon and get some resolution. it does alot for ones mental condition to finally know "why" we act the way we do. Good luck

Be careful and educate yourself about some of the medication you are put on. For instance, Klonopin can be a very dangerous drug and should only be prescribed in the short term. It is highly addictive and will likely contribute to memory impairment and language deficits over time as it is considered a schedule one controlled substance. Most MD's will down play it seriousness as they are not educated to it effects and unfortunately irresponsibly prescribe the entire class of benzodiapines such as Klonopin. If you are on in it for a long period of time it can be an extremely difficult drug to wean off of with its serious withdrawal. But most notably when it is prescribed for anxiety it often lessens your own ability to deal with stress and anxiety as it creates more of dependence. For treating anxiety I highly recommend non drug therapies. I would be happy to offer further suggestion it needed. But it is important to keep in mind that medications such as Klonopin are not really treating your anxiety but rather covering up the symptoms of the anxiety by slowing down the central nervous system. If you are experience some acute distress that approach might be helpful but as for a long term treatment be real real careful.
