I came off about the same dose cold turkey and it was a nightmare. I did it in a psych ward and after the third day I thought I was gong to have a hear attack. I became ultra sensitive to light, noise, couldn't watch anything with violence, even the news messed me up, I had very vivid nightmares so didn't sleep for a couple days. I don't know what weening off would do though I do know that a lot of pdocs will switch people to Valium to ween off of other benzos. peace & hugs
