Does anyone know if the meds we take for BP help with OCD? I just can't stop shopping and it's got to be OCD, I have never been like this before--so severe--and with my ED obsession too....

I can't stop thinking about soemthing and have to buy it to make the thinking stop. I also have other quirks but this is the worst and is harmful and out of control.

By the way--sorry I wrote ODC not OCD in the title!!!

Hi.. I am not a doctor so I can't give you an official diagnoses, but I have a form of OCD that causes me to bite and pick my skin compulsively. I looked up compulsive shopping and found a Wikipedia page for "Oniomania". Perhaps that's a start to finding some answers? Hope it helped a little.
