"Support Type 2 Diabetes Which I have" (chrisep)

MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

I don't think I am in a "mixed state" because I am able to push the thoughts out of my mind right now and I am happy as a clam. It's when I can't get out of bed or off the couch that these thoughs / images won't go away and the non-stop crying happens.

My husband and I have spoken about this numerous times, but he is tired of it already and wants me to move on. Each time we do discuss it, I promise that it will be the last time. But then the depression hits and it's like finding out the horrible news all over again. I agree 100% that I need talk therapy!

Good for you! We are the only ones who can make a difference ..... You will be surprised how talking to someone - someone who is trained- can help. It hurts to start with, but it also helps you to feel more in control. Good luck 😊

Thanks Robb2!

For some reason I feel really ticked off at my husband right now. I want to scream at him - slap him - and just flat out kick him to the curb. Could this be just one of the many stages of grief over who I thought he was?

Oh yeah it is. Expect more. Anger, depression, bargaining, denial and can't remember last one. lol Expect them in any order, at any time, and maybe all in one day. Let the roller coaster ride begin! The ride does end and takes you back to level ground.
This then is how we know we are belong to the truth and can rest in Gods presence, when our hearts condemn us. God is greater than our hearts and knows all. 1 John 3:19-20
