Bipolar Type II Support Group

I have been prehypertensive for about six months now. I finally decided my lazy fat butt was not get it down on my own. So my doc prescribed medicine twice, both turned out dangerous for me. Either because of lithium or my asthma and asthma meds. Going to my reg doctor tomorrow because my heart has been racing lately and its making me even more anxious than I am already. Anyone else have this experience?

I don't have that experience, but I do have lung problems including asthma. I will tell you right now that all of the hypertension drugs will bother your asthma. Try a diuretic - the prescription kind? That's what I did and it worked fine. I haven't tried lithium, but you can see the meds I'm on now below.
