Well its day 14 with no negative reaction to Paxil. This is usually the time when I have severe reactions to SSRIs. After 2 years and many trials I think we finally found one I can take. I'm feeling good, my stress levels are down. I've been able to cut down on the Valium & Zyprexa where I no longer need it at night to sleep, and still got a couple more weeks to get the full effect. This med has been a God send for me. I'm finally well on the road to what I hope is a long lived time of stability. Smile
peace & hugs

This is good news Rick. I'm happy for you. It sounds like it's really working for you. I think it's great that you are feeling so much better. Even sleeping good. This is great to hear and I'm proud of you for sticking in there. Smile

Thats good news. I have been on Paxil for at least 12 years and it works...however I am a rapid cycler and have minor depression in the late day and evenings. I feel great when I get up but around 5 pm I start gettin tired. I think it is my weak heart not the mental illness

I usually go months before I have a low and usually its not bad. Maybe that won't happen with Paxil. I did very well on Zoloft for a couple years so I'm hoping I can at least get that with this med. Smile
