MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

I have a question. I take 25 to 50 mg of seroquel at bed to help me fall asleep but I still wake up at least 3 to 4 times a night. Does anyone know what else I can ask my doc about as far as staying asleep??

Ask your doc about Zyprexa. I sleep up to 10 hours without waking up. I hear the same complaint about seroquel all the time. My brother takes it and has the same problem.

Bangbang is right about zyprexa. It knocked me out for ten to twelve hours solid if I did not have to be awake the next morning. I am coming off of it now because of some side effects, but it would probably do wonders for your sleep.

You may just need a higher dose of Seroquel. Most of the antipsychotics do make people tired.
