Bipolar Type II Support Group

I just got bipolar and this is my first bipolar pills its in the parmacy but i dont want to take it I dont know what it will make me feel like. does it feel like drinking alcohol ?

I took these pills for a few days, yuck !!! was like a blankness of ??? everything didnt like this.

Each medication makes people react in different ways. Sometimes it's better to start one medication at a time. Maybe talk with your doctor about that? Call your doc to describe how you're feeling on it.

I was put on it for a while but it made me too disoriented and cloudy headed. It caused he to have horrible nightmares as well...

Ick, then it's probably good to get off it if you haven't already (of course with dr's supervision). It's hard to find the right medication that works. Hang in there and you will find the right mix. The med-go-round is quite frustrating and difficult. There is hope. Many of us have found the right mix and are doing well while others of us are going through the same thing you are. The goal is the same - to feel better.
