MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

I have been through a number of drugs for the mania part of my condition. Lithium and 3-4 others. The last one was giving me edema (geodon)so I had to stop. I was put on 25mg daily of seroquel. Unfortunately that turned me into a lethargic person who only watched TV all day. I was told to take seroquel ad libidem. I usually take half a 25mg pill. I am NOT a good judge of when I'm manic. If I think I'm manic I'm probably toooooo talkative etc. Like right now.

I was down for the last few days. Not way down but down nonetheless. Naturally, I didn't take any anti-mania drugs and today I'm up BUT I think I'm manic.

Anyone dealt with ad libidem seroquel before?
