Well my insomnia problem is unchanged. 14 nights no sleep. But I went to the regular doctor and did get some answers to some medical problems I've been having. Turns out one test came back as strep on my urine culture so I need a different antibiotic then the one I' been given, so she gave me that. Then she gave me a new med for the stomach pain I'm having and said if the new med didn't work we'd take a blood test to see if I have a stomach infection. Then the result on the blood test that showed a problem with my kidneys it seems is probably been caused by my use of Advil. She only asked if I used it and I said yes and she said I couldn't use it anymore and I said forever? and she said yes I could only use Tylenol. I stopped using Tylenol years ago because it didn't work for me. Maybe since I haven't used it in years it will work now. Don't know. I'm about to find out soon though as I had to get some as I have frequent headaches with not sleeping. Anyway what I didn't tell her is I used Advil like candy over the 7 years I had PTSD because I had constant headaches. So that very well may have caused the kidney problems. There's nothing you can do to fix it, you can only monitor it. So far it's not severe so I'm ok. So it was nice to get some answers. And hopefully my latest meds will take care of my symptoms.

I'm glad you got some answers to some of your questions. You are really getting beat up both physically and mentally. Hang in there though. I really hope that the psychiatrist can give you something to get you to sleep. I can't imagine not sleeping for that many days.

Thanks for the encouragement Joy. I am surprised I manage to remain fairly calm, not having a lot of crying spells. I did the first week of not sleeping, but not so much now. So that's good. Looking forward to some relief from some pysical symptoms from my new meds too. That will be nice. That's another frustration of not sleeping, no break or escape from any symptoms. 1 more week to go.

Well just spoke to my old pdocs assitant because I was wondering if my Cymbalta ever came in. I get if from the drug company, it should have been in a few weeks ago and now I'm out. It didn't come in and now that I'm seeking out a new pdoc they won't be doing anything about my Cymbalta. So hopefully the Cymbalta wasn't actually helping me and I won't be having any adverse effects from being off of it. *sigh*

It's great you went to the reg doctor. It's good you're getting a new pdoc if the other one wasn't helpful. Sounds like you're really on top of things!
