I'm an Advocate

I'm on Dexedrine for focus, concentration, and wakefulness. I love it because it help me. I don't get a high or anything, it just helps me accomplish things for once in my life. It can cause mania/hypo-mania in a lot of bipolar people though so maybe that is the reason your psychiatrist won't prescribe it. I've had to hypo-mania from it thankfully. I agree it does take the fog away. Why don't you ask your doctor why he won't prescribe it? I hope you find something to help you out. Welcome to the group!
