Bipolar Type II Support Group

well today is my first day of my 3 day high (not off of drugs but off of mania) i have offically crashed...but what i am writting about is how people that DONT have this illness WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND it....u can try to explain ...but they will not ever understand...they dont understand when u crash u crash all u want to do is NOTHING!! nothing at all...n they say omg ur lazy some smart mouth remark...n others tallk go about you saying b.s. or act like they care and say im worried about her/him...im tellinn u unless you experience the bipolar highs AND LOWS.....u dont know nothing...but i am sorry bout runnin off at the mouth just had to say this...god bless us all!!!

You're right: no one who doesn't experience the highs and lows will ever really understand what it's like. You can try to explain, but they just can't really grasp what it's actually like. It's not their fault, though. How could they understand if they've never experienced it?

Yep, no one knows until they experience it. It's awful when we get called lazy and stuff like that. I'm sorry you were told that. Vent away. We are here to listen to you. We know exactly how you feel. God bless you also!

@ cat i know its not their fault , its just get frustrating when they dont understand after you have tried to explain it to them a million times that its not your fault that u have these high n low spells...thats all i am saying about that...@ joy thanks, n what i dont understand is how ppl think bipolar is not a big deal...you have hig and low spells ur mad ur sad ur angry your happy...welll its AWHOLE LOT MORE than that...n i know yall know that...but most the people i know they are just like so you have mood swings u will llive....ha...n yeah its bad about being called that becuz i get up daily with my 3 yr old and 18 month old feed, bathe, play, take to doctors like a regular mom and plus some becuz my son has some special needs (he has a learning disability)so i have to have paience with him n teachin him things .....i am mom n dad sometimes and its very tiresome and i am not complain at all i am just saying i am not lazy...i take care of my kids...n what i dont understand is how someone thinks they have the right to judge...only god is the one to be judgin...n ty about sayn god bless me too..

I agree, it is so frustrating. That's why I feel it is so helpful to have this site where everyone understands and supports us.
