After much ado over writing my cover letter and all that fuss, I did not need to worry so much. I sent out my resume and letter to apply for a job, and already got a response! The manager wants to speak with me about potential jobs! What the heck??!! I did not think it would be so easy.... Granted, she did not specify if she wanted to discuss that I am qualified or just tell me that I am not what they are looking for.... but still, it really makes me feel better about this crappy job search thing when I got such a positive response.

Just wanted to share... I will hopefully talk to them tomorrow and maybe I will get an interview!!!

Congratulations. I hope everything works out well. I often get myself really worked up about something and it usually turns out to be for nothing. Seriously, I dream up the absolute worst case scenarios and they never seem to come true.
