well I'm taking 3 ills a day as prescribedl It helps but does not get rid of my pouding heart.. any on else have this symptom? It'v very disoncerting.

I would work on that with pdoc and if they didn't figure that one out I would get a second opinion. I hate having heart issues, scary.

That doesn't sound good at all. I'm sorry you are going through this right now. Definitely call your psychiatrist and ask him about it. It doesn't sound right for your heart to be pounding. I hope everything is okay. Please let us know how you are doing.

Went to pdoc today. he is adding geodon to my mix. he just figured the pounding heart is anxiety. I hope the geodon helps with the anxiety the way the resperderal did.

The Geodon works ok for my anxiety - helps some - it also helps some with my depression. It definitely has squashed my hypomania. You might want to try Buspar in conjunction with it. I took it in my 20s and now I'm back on it again to help with the extremely high anxiety I experience all day. My pdoc and I don't want the benzos to stop working, so he added the Buspar. It's great for anxiety. I do hope the Geodon works for you as it has for me.

Trazodone 300 mg prn (for sleep)
Xanax .5 mg prn (for anxiety and sleep)

So far the Geodon seems to be working in a short amount of time. i am very happy about this. A lot less anxiety in the morning. Not all gone, but a lot.

I'm so happy for you. This is great news. The Geodon is a great medication, I was on it before and it worked great. I'm glad your anxiety has gone away a lot.

Awesome! I love Geodon - it works well for me, too. Taking 40 mg in the morning really helps take the edge off my anxiety.
