I have a lot of quotes that I like and wanted to hear others. Here is my newest one.

"When life hands you lemons...throw them back and demand a cookie!"

I like your quote when nothing goes right go left and I am glad that God gave me understanding friends cause I say a lot of stupid stuff- especially to myself. I am being weaned off Seroquel 900 mg and today a week later down to 600 mg. Today has been horrible- cried most of the day- guilt feelings of being a bad mom because my daughter is seeing my crying. I can't be on Seroquel I have choice=-it began to destroy my digestive tract. Now I sit here scared. How long is this going to last for?
Bipolar dx since 2007-
Lithium-900 mg
zoloft 200 mg-
Restoril-30mg @ bedtime started10/7/10
valium 40-mg
Seroquel and being weaned currently 800mg follow my journey on saying good-bye to this drug.Been on 900 mg since December of 09.Begin weaning at 800mg on 10/14/10
Lamictal-increased dose on 10/12- 200mg
Adderral- 40 mg
Propanolol-20mg

Please keep in mind that I am not a health care professional. If you feel that you are in crisis please seek help through your psych or the ER. I am here to listen.

I was there today too. My four year old was trying to cheer me up and asked if I was sad...He tried to give me his "lovey" Later he looked me in the eyes and asked "mom you happy?" Broke my heart.

I cannot begin to tell you the amount of times my daughter has come to me in the last week, forehead on the floor, in tears. She's so sweet and tells me that everything's going to be ok, I can talk to her about anything. Talk about role reversal! It makes me feel so bad because she shouldn't have to worry about me at such a young age. I try not to let her know what's wrong but it's difficult when she's asking and the answer is so simple. I had a realisation about my situation this afternoon, it hit me like a punch in the stomach, the most instant trigger I've ever experienced. I went hypo immediately, felt sick inside.

So the cheer up line will have to be, " even when you fall flat on your face, you're still moving forward " Wink

Don't believe everything you think ;)

So true. Sometimes that is all you can do is "Just keep swimming..." My favorite all time mantra.
