MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

I'm starting Lithuim 300mg tonight. Any pointers or things I should watch for? I know its a low dose but I'm pretty sensitive to meds and really don't know what to expect. Miss. Stacey it seemed to work good for you how were the side effects if any?
peace & hugs

I'm not Miss Stacey, but I do dress up like her sometimes...

Anyway, I didn't really notice any side effects at all. Maybe a bit of grogginess, but it was hard to differentiate that from the Seroqel/Geodon. Either way, it was/is a very mild drug, for me at least.

Cool Rick, you got something to start. I don't know a lot about Lithium, but I do know that you have to drink a lot of water with it and stay away from too much salt. I really hope this works for you and you get to starting to feel better. I'm happy you are giving this a try. Good luck!

Thanks like to see those pics of you in drag. lol

JK...haha.

Thats encouraging news. Last time I think I was on Depacote 3000mg 2 times a day @_@ + Lithium 500mg, and Tranxene 7.5mg 3 times a day. can you say ZOMBIE....

Dizzy Blink Dizzy Silly Wassat

Never tried it with Lamictal, Prozac, and Klonopin.

I read a lot of good reviews about 300mg once a day.

I'm a little apprehensive about it, then again I have nothing to loose at this point except my depression which is OK by me.

peace & hugs

Thanks for the tips Smile I already got a case of water at home and tap water if I have to. Its not that bad if left overnight, takes the chlorine smell out of it.

One thing about the south is in a lot of places the water is hard so we drink a lot of filtered or bottled water.

I took my first dose last night and slept like a baby Smile

I feel good and rested this morning. I think I'll even go for a walk. I haven't felt this happy in the morning for a long time. Hopefully this is a good sign of things to come.

Good luck Rick. Lithium is a fast worker.

If I ever go back to treatment that would be my first choice.

Yes it is and has quite a calming effect. I don't think I'll be needing the Klonopin while taking it.
