MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

Heya guys,

so I've been on Depakene for couple of days and I felt very good mentally but the physical side effects have been hell. Today I can clearly see I'm mildly depressed and was crying again, I just cannot keep going like this. Shit.

I'm doubling my dose tomorrow and I already feel like dying. My gosh, I was so naive to think I'd be okay almost immediately Sad

If you're still feeling depressed you may need an anti-dep as well. Everyone's chemistry is different so while it may be stabilising you in some ways it may not be lifting the depression. I suggest you speak to your pdoc as soon as you can and tell him/her what's going on, especially as you now have to up the dose. For some it treats the depression, others not. It doesn't have to be this way so please get help soon. I know it's hard, but hang in there, you will find the right combo. And when you do it will all be worth it Smile stay positive, we're here for you. hugs, Bridget Smile

I'm an Advocate

This disorder is one about trial and error but two about time and patience. The meds don't always work right away, you will need to give them time to adjust and work out in your body. A couple days is not enough time for some of these meds to be able to tell a difference so don't loss hope or get discouraged. Like Bridget said you may also need an anti d to make a combo but even with that it's going to take some time. We are here for you. Hang in there and keep on keepin on. Hugs, Stacey Smile

Hang in there. Psychotrobic medication requires a lot of patience since they are not fast acting for the most part. Just give it a reasonable amount of time and if it's still not working, get in to see your pdoc.
