Hi there,

I couldn't help but notice that some of you are taking this based on your signature. Are you taking it all the time or just when you get to "take the edge off" to deal with mania? My pdoc just gave me a 2 week run of it a very low dose and it's really helping get me more relaxed - I was definitely heading towards a hypomanic phase due to work stress (actually, one of my triggers is "backstabbing politics" at work - quite a few toxic people in my group, and a boss who refuses to deal with it).

So I'm finding it helps, although making it hard to get out of bed.

Any thoughts? Does it help you? Anything to watch out for?

Thanks

I take it now that I am stable only for sleep, I used to take it for sleep and also as needed for anxiety and racing thoughts. When I first started taking it I felt groggy and loopy but that went away after a little while and now if I take it during the day its like nothing, I just would feel better but dont feel as if I took something and nobody would notice I did either. Good Luck! Wink

I am on it for anxiety but after 2 years its not very effective. I have since learned to deal with anxiety on my own and don't need it any more. The only thing I can say is that it did help while it worked. I was up 6mg a day now I'm down to 3 after almost 2 months. In another 2 months I'll be off of it. Although it does nothing for me my body needs it so I have to taper off slowley to avoid withdrawal. Hope it works for you as long as it did for me.
peace & hugs

I am on it just as needed for anxiety/sleep. It does help me feel better when I take it. I just feel relaxed and a bit sleepy. Keep us posted and good luck!

Thanks for the replies! Wow! I'm only on .25mg a day and it has an effect on me. Hopefully this is just a short run for me and I'll be off of it soon. I'm glad that it works though. I'll keep you posted if stuff changes.
