MDJunction to me

tomboykimi"What MD Junction means to me is a place where i can feel like im not alone. As someone with something as rare as hydrocephalus, it feels like im the only one in the world with it. When i came to MD, its like everyone has it. It doesnt feel like im alone. And that people need to hold up a sign to say what i have, because people know. And they understand. I can get questions answered from people who have been through it rather than from doctors or people who only can tell you from a physical standpoint. THat is what MD junction means to me." Found a cool moodtracker today online. The best thing is it's all point and click and you can add additional info if you need to. And then... right before your dr. appointment you can click on "report" and it generates a report you can take with you for your dr. records. Pretty cool if I do say so! And, it took me less than 5 minutes to do the inital set up. Here's the link:

https://tracker.facingus.org/

It asks your moods, your meds, any side effects, and any life events that may or may not have happened that day. I know sometimes I find that I wished I would have told my pdoc stuff, but don't remember until I'm on my way home. I think using this will help make sure we are both on the same page. Check it out. Hmm, That seems really helpful. Because I know that I don't have a mood tracker, maybe that will come in handy for me. Thanks! Smile

patientslike.com is cool I joined that but the only thing I didnt like about it is you could only pick one illness and I have several so I chose my MS since my Bipolar was stabilized but I havent really been on there much another very good one is www.moodtracker.com you track moods, meds and drs as well as journaling. My pdoc thought it was a good site when I showed her so she now gives it out to her patients. Wink

I just joined the facingus.com one today! I really like it. I tried moodtracker.com, and I am not a huge fan. But, facingus.com looks amazing! You can create a wellness plan, and a wellness book. They even have a creativty area!

Mouse,

I just joined facingus.com; looks like a great way to track moods. I wonder if there is an Iphone app for this! That would be very convenient. Hope your well...

I gotta admit, that was a damn fine idea. It's nice to be able to track things, and to have the ability to stay focused. I'm terrible with my memory--I can't even remember to write stuff down. At least there, I see it every time I open the folder with MDJ in it.

Thank you Meribeth and Miss Stacey!!

Glad you guys like it. It rocks. I'm also very forgetful and have always been. It's gonna be great to be able to hand my mood report right to my doctor. Love it!
