MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

lol, yup, Cats, I know, I have hidradenitis, a rare skin disease that causes boil like lesions, while they can see the large lumps and the inflammated and infected lesions, they can't feel the pain, I know people who have been denied pain medications for just that reason, just plain out stupid, I do have a way of showing them my pain, haven't had to use it yet, but will should the need arise, have you ever seen the seed pods from the Chestnut Tree? they look like these little round balls with spikes all over them, let some doctor tell me I can't be in that much pain and I will take one of those soak it in alcohol and tell them to tape it to their private parts and try working like that all day.. as that is exactly what it feels like when I have one of the HS Aliens in the inside crease of my thigh, it feels like a million little stick pins trying to come out from the inside of my flesh, I know that we are not suppose to double up on our pain meds, but if I have one of those going on, it's the only way I have to take the edge off the pain.. I take 10mg Lortabs, and have had to take 30mg just to be able to move..

Get ahold of your doctor and see what they can do for you, you should not have to go through this..
