MDJunction to me

ITeach91"MD Junction has been a lifeline to me. The support and information I receive from group members is so important for me to maintain a good quality of life. I struggled with a diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency and did not know where to turn, but then I found MD and it has been one of the most important tools to help me to enjoy my life and stay as healthy as possible. We really are stronger together than we could ever be alone." (ITeach91)

has anyone ever been depressed for 4 years or longer.? I have and my doctor has tried every antidepressant and mood stabilizer there is. I even had electoconvulsive therapy 4 years ago without success. It's so disheartening. I would love to have one thing that I enjoy doing again. The last time I was manic was in 1992.

Hi, Annie, welcome to the group, are you still seeing your doctor? there are new medications out almost everyday, I watched a program one time that was on a surgery they did for depression, personally I would hate to have to go through that, but it might be a option for you, talk with your doctor about it, you can probably google it and see what you can find.
