my doc prescribed me with a low dose of dosulepin but i dont think its right and this is why:

1)it says do not use if suffer from mania

2)its too low a dose

3) sometimes i can be a danger to myself

4)it only works in a blue moon

5) my mood swings are worse then ever

6)i cant concentrate

7)i cant cope with the simplest things

8)ive been really moody

9) i just want to go to sleep all the time

10)the doctor doesnt seem to listen to me

11) i noticed the doctor wasnt typing anything or writing anything i said down although i was talking about my anxietys and explaining what it is i feel like

12)my previous doctor (who diagnosed me) said that i was only supposed to be taking them temporarily

the problem is my doctor will not listen or take anything down and will refuse to see me sometimes.

he has told me to stop being silly and to stop making ridiculous comments when i tell him about my anxieties and my mood swings. he has also commented that there is no such thing as bipolar disorder and it was a negitive placebo my previous doctor had told me. there is no other decent doctor nearby (my previous doctor was when i lived in different town)

and im not sure what to do

Panasara...you definitely need another opinion..or even to change doctors. Try taping your session. A lot of times people are more careful about what they say when it is on tape. Making an irresponsible remark like "there is no such thing as bipolar" just sounds wrong.

I would strongly recommend finding another doctor. A psychiatrist who can give a proper diagnosis and prescribe meds if they are necessary...

Let us know how you are doing??? Ok
