Hi, Amom, call doctor's office and tell them he is cutting pills in half, see what they say...the tiredness could be from bipolar symptoms and have nothing to do with meds...if he is cutting capsules in half that is not a good idea, they are probably time release...and it will make things worse...

Hope he will be ok...hugs, Norma

Hi amom, and p8nt,

My pdoc cut my abilify in half, when, I was on it. I would not do it with out his doc's permission. I had to get a pill cutter. It works, really well.

I couldn't handle the 5 mgs. I could only handle 2.5mgs. My pdoc didn't have 5 mg samples.

God Bless,Gypsy

What mgs. are you on? I was taking to many mgs. of it and it was making me feel like I had that leg syndrom...ummm... can't think what it's called right now but, oh yeah, Restless Leg Syndrom that you see on tv. Anyway, doc cut down the mgs. and it made it alot better. Maybe your mgs. are to high. Wish you luck, I know it really sucks.

You have to love it.Cause you know we've all thought it.
