I was feeling agitated and sometimes in the evenings like I wanted to rip off my skin. My pdoc put me on cogentin. I researched it and it actually is not useful for restlessness even tho pdocs are prescribing it.

Anyway, I feel like crap tonight even though I'm on 1mg daily (split 2 doses). Has anyone gotten relief from anxiety/agitation type restlessness from this drug???

Jen

Possibly he is looking at the anticholinergic properties?

I'm about 80% sure that I was prescribed that during a lovely trip to the ER. It provided relief, but it was only temporary, which was fine for me because I was only using it on a temporary basis. I'm not sure about long-term use, though.

Wow. Looks like the Jennys (and all variations) are taking over.
