MDJunction to me

2steveb" In life we all have trials and tribulations to endure weather it be physical, mental or social. For me personally when i encountered MDJunction i was astounded. Since i joined MDJunction to me it has been a god send and a life saver. I have met and been able to converse freely with so many people in the same situation as myself, (that alone is a big help, to know your not alone) to be able to discuss and get good advice from a braud section of people. One of lifes hardest things is to discuss personal issues with friends/family and yet the mdj family is non judgmental and you will be made totally welcome to talk through any issue thats on your mind. There are forums for every known issue to mankind, to me MDJ.com has become my family extension, id be lost without these good people and the extremely good guide lines that group leaders help us all with to keep threads topical and friendly." anyone taking these two drugs ? right now I take 150 lamictal and 1mg risperidone...been doing pretty good for about a year but now thinking of upping the dosages to deal with some pretty bad mania and depression...i have not felt suicidal yet thank goodness, but i fear it is coming back...when i first started the risperidone i had severe headaches and nausea and lost 10 pounds, so upping the dosage scares the crap out of me...i have been on higher dosages of lamictal before, so im ok with upping that...

just wondering if anyone has any advice ? i never really had bad hypomanic/manic episodes before, but now they are becoming more frequent and severe...

i know i should be charting these. so i think i will, if i can remember too..

Sorry Geminicat....I have had both, but the resperidone for a short time only. This can help if I am having a bad time of it. Cannot say anything eles which may be helpful to you.

Of course it is best to speak to your pdoc about it.
