I take Topomax both as a mood stabilizer and for severe migraines. My body tolerates a lot without side effects: 200mg twice a day. It definitely works for the migraines at that dosage. I also think it has some effect as a mood stabilizer at that dosage, but it's hard to tell, because I take other mood stabilizers and mood stabilizing anti-depressants. Bipolar II, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Attacks, Agoraphobia & PTSD; Alcoholic in recovery since 3/21/07.
Aplenzin 522mg; Pristiq 200mg; Lamictal 400mg; Geodon 160mg; Ativan 1mg TID; Deplin 15mg; Xanax PRN; Metoprol 100mg.
