Anyone taking Lithium + Lexapro? What would be considered, Good results? My bf is on them, but i don't know what he was like before he was heavily medicated. But, it seems as if is experiencing a slight lithium toxicity.. With the diarrhea, vomitting, drowsiness, hand tremors. But, also he's been this way since i've met him.

Would, Deproloft at to the toxicity? (Naturopathic Remedy)Ingredients:

Vitamin B12 275.0mcg

Folate 200.0mcg

Rhodiola rosea extract 25.0mg

Iodine 34.0mcg

Vitamin B6 2.5mg

Vitamin C 125.0mg

St. John's Wort extract 75.0mg

Eleuthero extract 25.0mg

L-Tyrosine 100.0mg

5-Hydroxytryptophan 13.0mg

Gamma Aminobutyric Acid 125.0mg

Pantethine Octahydrate 65.0mg

Could vitamin B cause lithium toxicity?

Also, should he be taking Deproloft while on an SSRI such as Lexapro? Because of the 5-htp.

thanks,

m

I took lithium and lexapro, and then I switched it to lexapro and lamictal. Lithium made me vomit a lot and at random times. I also couldn't really function on it. Like it would be good to stabilize me but that's it. I was really sleepy and zombie-ish. Then again i was on a pretty high dosage. He shouldn't take the Deproloft without his doc's permission
