MDJunction to me

grandmasylvia"MDJ has been "a soft place to fall" for me as Dr Phil says. I have this very painful rare disease Dercum's Disease and take comfort in finding others here who share their knowledge and compassion. Many
members have helped me just by understanding my anguish and validating
my pain. We are working together to encourage research toward a cure.

After a brief talk with my pdoc (telling him about all the med changes I've made), he let me continue on with what I'm now doing except for the Xanax. I'm going through yet another tumultuous time in my life and he doesn't want to see my anxiety get the best of me.

As for my son, pdoc has put him back up to his regular dose of Risperdal and added Geodon. The plan is to get him off of the Risperdal all together and just keep the Geodon. I'm wondering if it'll work so I'm going to start a new post asking that question of others.

I'm an Advocate

I really hope it works out for you. I would like to get off meds or cut back. Doesn't seem to work for me, though, so I am pulling for you and your son.
