Does anyone take their AD at night? I'm on Prozac .5 very small dose I know. I've been taking it in the mornings for almost a year now. Just in the last month or so I notice that I'll feel great and motivated till about an hour after I take it, then it just goes downhill from there. I get really tired and end up taking a nap in the afternoon.

I talked to my pdoc Mon. about dropping it completely and she was fine with that. Especially since I'm on such a small dose. I couldn't bring myself to go without yesterday though and ended up taking it anyway. I'm just sooo nervous about changing anything. All in all I've felt better then I have in years.

I noticed last night that I felt really good and alert. I'm wondering if I should take it at night that way I would get this feeling during the day. Will it keep me up? Every once in awhile I know my Lamictal will make it hard to sleep.

Should I just take the leap and go without and see how it goes?

If anyone has a similar experience I would love to hear any suggestions or comments.... Thanks

Alright... no taking the Prozac at night. I was up every two hours last night. So this is definitely not an option! Going to drop it see how it goes. Wish me luck everyone Smile

Defiant I take both my anti-d in the am. Wellbutrin (not an SSRI) and Citalapram (SSRI). The citalapram says it makes you drowsy, but it doesn't for me. Speak to your pdoc. Perhaps just call her and it could be hypomania creeping in??

I take my anti depressant Cymbalta in the morning as well as 2 of my 3 Lamictal. All of my medications say they make me drowsy but it isnt till I have been awake like 3 hours after taking 320 mg of Geodon and 4 mg of Klonopin that I even start to doze off. I guess I just react that way.
Abilify 2 mg at bedtime
Klonopin 8 mg 2mg 4x daily
Cymbalta 60 mg 1 during the day
Lamictal 300 mg 2 during the day, one at bedtime
Luvox CR 100 mg in the morning.
Simvastatin - High Cholesterol bedtime
Metoprolol - High Blood Pressure 2 x during the day
