well i have been on abilify for going on 2 years now. The only big side effect i had with it was weight gain. Abilify might not help with anxiety, it is meant to be a mood stabilizer and also it helps with depression. But tell your doctor your symptoms and they will tell you if it is just anxiety or abilify, but like i said i didnt really experience anything like that, but everyone is different. Bipolar 1 -Major depression- Rapid cycling ( Seasons do affect moods especially in the fall)
Severe anxiety ( especially around people)
CDA2 ( Rare severe anemia)
Beta thalycemia ( another anemia)
Questioning whether i have ptsd or not.
Severe allergies ( constant cough all year round)

Bipolar is not who you are. It is just a label and nothing more. Don't forget who you really are deep inside. Even i have to be reminded of this sometimes ^_-
