GOOOOOD MORNING ALL! HAPPY MONDAY!

Getting ready to go to bed for a couple of hours and thought I would open up first. Coffee is all set-up and just needs to be turned on. I set out the tea to be brewed later in the morning. Leaving a tray of fresh cream cheese danishes on the table, help yourselves.

I am headed for bed, see ya all later in the day.

GOD BLESS

RED

Good morning to all! I hope everybody has a great day. I've been awake since midnight and I've given up on going back to sleep. Maybe I'll sleep more tomorrow night. I hate insomnia! I've got to grab some of that coffee to make it through the day with my four-year-old son. He really doesn't understand, "Mommy's tired." That's okay, though, because he is the light of my life. He's my baby, definitely the last one, and I just revel in him. Love my two girls too (ages 8 and 10), but this little man sets my heart aflutter. I was thinking how rough the next two years will be (waiting on SSDI) and then I realized: my little boy will still be "little" during those years. It is like God is giving me a special blessing while we wait. While I can't wait to get my SSDI, at least my innocent little man will still look at life through the eyes of a child during these years, and I get to look at life that way through him. That's pretty neat!

I don't know how I digressed so much, but anyway, happy Monday to all.

morning becca-what a wonderful attitude. it's so great when we can appreciate our kids when they're young.

carmen-hi, you. i guess the social anxiety thing is getting me down right now. the thought of walking out into that big, cold world today and going to court and dealing with people is making me sick. i just hate it some days. it's the one thing my meds haven't helped with. there are still days when it just seems like a herculean effort to go out of this house. if it weren't for this person counting on me being in court, i wouldn't go in today.

sorry to be such a downer. i'll make it, like always

what are your plans?

Becca, it sounds like you are doing just wonderful...I am happy to hear it, work with the doctor about the meds,

Z I can understand where you are coming from, therapy can help with this, you might have become a tad use to being in the house all the time, and not wanting to socialize, easy to do, I know when I knew I had no other choice in returning to the world of employment, I about had a panic attack, it was a struggle just getting out of bed, never mind getting out the door, talk with your doctor about some anti anxiety meds.. like me you might never totally get over it, but it can be made easier.. I am proud of you for doing what you need to do.

thanks, carmen-having you be proud of me means a lot i have the anti anxiety meds and they help some, but like we all know, nothing makes it "all go away". i am who i am and i just need to get through this one court appearance and maybe i will come home then. like norma says, "all you can do is all you can do and all you can do is enough". coming from that little dynamo though, i'm not so sure if i can measure up...lol...thanks for the encouragement. i knew to come here and that someone would tell me to get my ass out the door and that i'd be ok. should have known it'd be you, friend.

, I am honestly proud of you, you're doing a wonderful job, and who's ruler are you expecting to measure up too? if not your own, then it really doesn't matter though now does it? never ever compare yourself to others, you'll never "measure up" and all you will do is drive yourself nuts.. those that expect you to measure up to their ruler are out there, we are what we are, and like Norma said, all we can do, is all we can do, and that is enough, as long as we have given it our best shot, that is all we can do, you can come home and face yourself in the mirror, there are those who can't.
