Now, I would like to share with you one word...Lubricant Jelly....wait that is two words...anyway...use it and plenty of it..just slather it all over. The more the better...

And don't forget sex in the bath tub all that water helps...now that is my input unless I can think of something else.

That and being on hormone replacement! Not only will it help with the dryness but the depression, your libido, everything! They didn't give me HRT when I first had one because I had a blood clot but after I pretty much lost my mind they changed their mind. We've all seen what post partum depression is like with some women that are now in jail? Well the same thing can happen after a hysterectomy. The body and the mind just can't seem to get their signals straight. I did gain weight after starting, but I would rather be fat and sane than skinny and off my rocker like I was.

Ok I am going to get a little graphic here and will apologize ahead of time...try side ways...and you can control the thrusting with your knees...it takes a little practice. The penetration only has to stimulate the head of the penis...let your fingers do the rest...now if i get in trouble for this I am going to have to delete this post...so read fast...and again if anyone is shocked or upset. I apologize...just trying to help. PS don't try this one in the tub.

lol, Norma, I refer to mine as Mother nature..

Something else Clever, try the top as you can control the amount of penetration that way.. There's all kinds of fun things you can try, it's a good thing that hubby and I are friends, as our sex life is about as dull as a lecture, between our meds and our health, we're lucky if both of us feel like it twice a year..lol..

LISTEN UP!!! i have some actual information from a professional on this subject. i was talking to the coolest woman at the last shower today (yeah, i made it through) and she used to be a nurse specifically for women who were having/had hysterectomies. she told me all this stuff we're talking about is all about the "pelvic floor". she told me that a lot of the post op sex pain can come from no longer having a strong pelvic floor or one that is traumatized by the surgery. she said to start enjoying sex again, everyone needs to be doing their kegel exercises. she told me that even though most of us know what these are, most of us do them wrong. so-now for graphics...

kegel exercises are not clenching your buttocks together. they are not squeezing your thigh muscles. they are contracting those muscles you feel deep inside when you have a cramp or a contraction. at the "floor" of your pelvis, just above your vaginal opening. these muscles have to be clenched and held. do it in the car, at your desk, in line at the grocery store. you can tell you are doing it right if you can stop and start the flow of urine and if you feel a little "nervous" feeling, like butterflies in your stomach when you do them.

so go try out those new positions while you wait for your pelvic floor to be strengthened from doing your kegel exercises. the more you do them, the faster the results. btw-when you clench, you need to hold it for as long as you can-at least 10 seconds.

happy kegeling everyone...rofl if poor red ever gets to this page
