Anyone Awake, May 9th, no topic discussion

Getting ready to start the days activities, I have a doctors appointment for 2pm, Glenn needs to go see the Bishop of our Church to fix one of his cars.. around 3pm, so I figure we can take care of all that this afternoon, have to pay a bill around there too, can we say kiss my paycheck goodbye? whats money for if not to spend it, just wish I could spend it on something else besides bills..

My oldest daughter is on her way down with my granddaughter to visit for the weekend. Our grandson is staying with her (separated from) husband.

Got a call from my youngest (the Marine) and she is finished with her MOS training Monday. She has decided to go to California to visit her girlfriend before going to Okinawa. I kinda knew she would want to do so, but I'm still a little disappointed. Like my husband said, when she gets her first leave she is coming here to visit. He is so practical! LOL

So I am a MAC geek. Anything mac I love....PC's are a little confusing at times but I managed to keep the family one running for about 15 years. It died a slow death about a month ago. Now we are looking for a laptop for Paul. He doesn't like getting on my mac because it is a work computer (I freelance as well as work my part time job) and he is afraid he will mess something up!

So any suggestions on a good PC lap top? He doesn't play games or anything just likes music, surfing the net. He doesn't even have his own E mail account! LOL

Sunny, hot and humid here so I'm hanging inside with a little air conditioning running and ceiling fans going!

I don't know much about laptops. Our son had a nice HP when he was home.

Just woke up from a long nap. It's amazing what a little sleep can do for your frame of mind.

Thanks for the sites Glenn. I will check them out. I hate going to places like Best Buy etc. without knowing what I want first. Feel like they are just waiting for a sap like me...LOL
