I dug out 3 double shoe boxes of photos to go thru and I'm wondering it's this task is too big. When I go thru old photos I cry and cry but it's a good cry.

Rkc....i know what you mean the pics are like frozen moments in time and make me cry good tears...I have a photo album missing that was all of my baby pics, and ones of my family...can't find it...makes me sick...I have searched and searched...AAAARRRRGGGG...

You enjoy going through pics...I have a box I went through recently and the first thing I did was just divide them into categories...which made the job easier...

Also, because we have to evacuate for Hurricanes here (which I swear I will never do again, I will stay in my own house) I have them in waterproof containers...just in case....

Morning Norma. I hope you have a wonderful day

rkc, going through old photos is a great way to fill the day. Remembering all of the good times in life can be fun. If it is too much to tackle in one day, just break it up over several free days. You don't have to finish all today.

Good morning All, Hope all are having great day! I agree photos are frozen moments in time. We should go through them every now and then, I wish I had before "The Storm". Was lucky to save many but lost far more than we saved. I think what hurt the most was my mother hated being photographed, and what photos we had of her, very few were saved. She passed away 4 months before "Katrina" so losing them and everthing else was especially hard. Norma, as one who had friends drown in the attic, spend a week on their roof, and myself forced out of his home for two months; No matter how much of a pain in the A@# it is to evacuate, it's the smart move. I wish more had heeded the warning.

Belated good morning to you Southern and Dreux. I hope you both have a good day.

We have hurricanes here, too. I feel such great sympathy for the folks who are still recovering.

Goodafternoon, Norma, Southern, hope everyone has a great day. May peace be with you all, I'm hoping to get some...Is it possible to have a man in your life without the lies, deceit? I certainly hope so, cause I don't intend on being alone for a long time or forever, but I know not looking for a man on the internet, but I need to recover first and heal. It's been a while since I have done the forum stuff, but want to get back into it...

Suzette....I have a great husband so i can say yes there are good men out there..just depends on the man...and knowing what you want out of a relationship.

The grocery is a good place to meet people...LOL go ahead and laugh...but, if he is single he is probably shopping for himself...look in the basket...see what he is buying??? food for just one???...is he nicely dressed, can he pay for the groceries??? glad you are posting Suzette...hugs, Norma
