wow just found this thread (thanks to kimminenimentdanger) there's some great stuff here. here's one transfered from my diary entry i wrote tuther day.........

On top of the world.

The hills are alive with energy of those

Whose feet brush the surface, in movement of dance.

The dancer

is joined by the fairies - their motion the same

As they spin round in circles, colours bright

Swirl like ribbons on a stick.

hurricane season has arrived.

Seductive siren of the earth, draws you closer

It’s fingertips caress you

Until

It’s rage devours you.

The dark sphere appears.

shadow moves towards them, closer …

The breeze snatches leaves and races ahead

It winds around them throwing them in each direction

As the shadow takes over the hills.

Then she turns now alone

When did the fairies leave her side?

Grass changes underfoot, harsh stone resides

The crackling is loud as it crumbles and falls.

She is pulled in.

Falling

Her hands stretched out like claws ready to catch their prey

no one appears.

The edge

where she once stood and danced

disappears in the distance.

Sharp jagged rocks

Pierce her body as she lands

Motionless,

her face stained - an acid ink smudge

The aches shoot through her

limp body

daring movement.

The darkness holds her place.

The Glimmer

First one, then more

It brightens

As it pushes the sphere back to its place

Light creeps around her, darkness looses its grip.

The Nymphs

Glide in

Their graceful hands wash over the jagged bed

Her body is placed on warm sand

Woken by their magik

Serenity

As the Nymphs guide her

around peaceful surroundings

joined by the fairies, and gnomes

The salamanders

fire ablaze, the dancing begins

They twist and shout.

In the distance

Heard calling to her tune

Extending its claws reaches out and scratches her

Laughter battles the agony

Pixies push through the chaos as her

Mind wonders when it will

End.

starlight, starbright,
the first star i see tonight.
i wish i may i wish i might
have the wish i wish tonight.

Bright blessings. Starbright XXX

here's another long poem - sorry i'm a bit verbose - terry

it’s plain that that the sun will shine today

i’m not in the mood for sun

maybe i’ll go insane, the intensity of beams

of pacing

of nail chewing

of imagining, planning

interminable

sun, dirty bright

the day’s forge

bending steel like lava

focus through my window

i’m an ant under microscope

interesting at first

mandibles gnawing away

frozen under expanding heat

the moment of ‘poof’ of ignition

all flame at one time

sun a clumsy dancer

dragging its feet through stumbling waltz

with leaves and branches and pedestrians and bus stops

feeling that frizzle of power it holds

plods or skips – no matter

a 1000 mile per hour, 15 million degree bully

shoving, pushing just because it does

I wait without patience, squinting through glass

no patience for a sun that infringes

my fingers crack knuckles habit or waiting

my core temperature on the move

out of chair, pacing, my heat

is anviled into a knife, a sword

steam rises a veil drips from my hair

wishing for the high crystal moon

cleanse, open senses, no clutter

waiting to take my hand, show me

stair squeaks, lock click click in the door

opening the door, by some force of nature you’re there

you said you wouldn’t be back

this morning make-up the bruises

If I could be anything in the world,
I would be everything.
If I could think of anything in the world,
I would think of future failures.
If I could touch anything in the world,
I would cradle my infant self.
If I could dream of anything in the world,
I would dream my dreams real.
Now that I am something and I’ve thought, touched, and dreamed,
I will let it all go

WOW, that's a good one. The imagery is very good. I can mentally picture all you were saying. Good work.

You are sunshine

quiet inspiration

You're my journey

a secret destination

Be my best friend

total stranger

My lifeline

my hint of danger

You are with me

everywhere I go

Your life breathes through me

in everything I know

Keeping your secret

simply sharing mine

I thank you forever

gentle sunshine

Countrymouse......I love that. Thank you!

We've stepped on our brother's foot.
We forget to be thankful.
We feel alone.
We think our dance is the only dance there is.

My mind stops working..

reality slips away

My sight confused, blurred

I forget what I was going to say

reach back into dark

my hand disappears in black

I know there's no coming back

for a while...

Scared, lost

anger pours out of my soul

consuming me once again

there is no control...

What is this feeling

this loss of breath?

Convulsed confusion

there will be no rest

My voice so loud I cant be heard

and I fall back...

exhausted
