Don’t Mess With the Elderly

once I was walking

real slow down the street

when an old woman passing

pushed me off my feet

I said "what the fuck"

and she called me a punk

I started laughing

you see i was drunk

she called me a "shithead"

which took me off guard

and before i could answer

she screamed "damn retard"

now i lost my temper

and gave her a poke

and said "listen lady,

this isn't a joke,

you're a bitch of a woman

your grandkid's a fuck.

take out your dentures

give me a 20 bucks

you wrinkled up hag,

your diapers need changing

you're late for your bingo

i hear them; they're paging

then right from behind

something hard struck my head

i turned round and witnessed

an old man... he said,

"listen here bitch,

that there is my wife"

he dug in his pocket

and pulled out a knife

"fuck you old geezer"

(my last words you could say)

I was stabbed in the neck

and i died there that day

the Barbies will get you to join their army,

kamakazie roll to the floor; things are being thrown…

everybody duck! it's a little pink shoe!

holy shit!! its lipstick!!

run for your life goddamn it!

chasing after you in pink camoflauge gear,

its hard not to laugh at them;

they are chanting …..

”Buy us! Buy Us! Buy us!”

”You need all the acessories!”

”beg, borrow, steal, but you have to have us all!!”

barbie will take over the world;

complete domination

by plastic freaks

in glittery mini skirts and high heels.

walking through the checkout,

reality hits:

Barbie already controls the world

and now that i know the truth i am dead...

the pink mini skirt clan is gonna get me

and bury me next to Ken

he found out the truth - so he was disposed of !!

My interpretation of the first is that there is no difference in manners according to generation. Olds can be as rude as youngs and the old ones usually scream foul first. My theory in life is ...if you are a mean, "OLD bitch", you were a mean, "YOUNG bitch"!! You never know when your life will end, it can be the most surprising thing of all.......am I at all close on your inspiration??

The second one is just so true it made me smile. The interpretation I have for that one is perhaps way off, but here I go....To me it is the pressure of society saying that thin and beautiful rule! They throw ads at us and it seems like they consider us that are not quite perfect fools for not changing and buying into their superficial society. The ones that aren't loved and won't conform are tossed away like old broken toys.

Undertoe...you also have a gift and poetry is an amazing way of allowing your creativity to spill out emotion. Wonderful poem...and yes it was a poem, "Couplet Poem" Great job!

DeepHeartedSigh- Thank you for your uplifting compliment - and you know you still like me!! Oh; and I visited the website you referred to... what a great resource!!! I am so glad you mentioned it; I still feel a bit apprehensive about sharing my stuff with the pros. Generally, I'm not insecure AT ALL but when it comes to my writing, I always feel a little inferior. Do you write?? I'd LOVE to read some of your stuff.....
