HA! HA! I made a vampire fall in love and now he's all jacked up because he is hungry, but he loves her...HA HA HA!

Crimson Dilemma

Oh but a glimpse

through the eyes

of an innocent.

Unworthy of sight

my nights sinfully spent

preying on her kind.

Scarlet stars

around a crimson moon

illuminate supple skin.

The vein that runs

ruby red blood

protrudes

beckoning me again.

Oh, to let her live her life

garnet dreams torment me.

To take hers and live mine

is my destiny, her fate.

I’ve lost my instincts knowing her

fair and beautiful Kate.

The untainted, untouched

purity of a virgin.

The sweet taste of her

trickles down

curing my lustful dehydration.

Elegance clad

in carmine scented perfume.

She greets me

with a relieved sigh.

“I’m glad you came!”

She knows nothing of my next move.

Nor,

do I.

Cupcake - That is scary sexy..... Anne Rice wants me to e-mail her a copy!!! Your imagination knows no bounds..... I especially loved "She knows nothing of my next move, nor do I.".... Amazing.

Thank you Kimmie, I love the control I have in writing. I can't control the idiots of the world...but when you can make a vampire fall in love, it makes the idiots seem less irritating!

ohmigod,

That was so sinisterly elegant.

I too am a fan of Anne Rice, she could have not done better.

Keep writing.

Peace

I found this one in an old journal I actually wrote when I was in a depression:

I cut myself so you will see

all the pain inside of me

I scratch myself and rub it raw

ashamed of all the pain you saw

That was for an old pdoc of mine who just didn't get it.

I want you guys to know that you have inspired me to try to write, even when I'm not manic. It must be somewhere in there.

Shakespeares' Tinman

"From forth the fatal loins

of these two foes, a pair of

star cross'd lovers take their life"

~William Shakespeare

As he read Shakespeare's

words out loud

he realized his mistake.

The heart he'd wanted

of which he was so proud

sent tears to fill a lake.

He begged the wizard

"take it back!"

Pleaded from his knees,

"I cannot bear

the heartache, sir,

won't you take it please?"

The tinman listened close

to what the wizard

had to say.

If you visit Oz

you'll see

his rusted remains today.

"You wanted a heart!"

said the wizard.

The tinman hung his head.

"You wanted to 'feel'"

The wizard said,

"Would the tinman rather be dead?"

Seeing the wizard

would not budge

the tinman finally turned.

He didn't know then

the heart he'd recieved

would cause mere words to burn.

He spent his life

in emotions

he had not known before.

Works like

"Romeo and Juliet"

crushed him to the core.
