Shakespeares' Tinman "From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, a pair of star cross'd lovers take their life" ~William Shakespeare As he read Shakespeare's words out loud he realized his mistake. The heart he'd wanted of which he was so proud sent tears to fill a lake. He begged the wizard "take it back!" Pleaded from his knees, "I cannot bear the heartache, sir, won't you take it please?" The tinman listened close to what the wizard had to say. If you visit Oz you'll see his rusted remains today. "You wanted a heart!" said the wizard. The tinman hung his head. "You wanted to 'feel'" The wizard said, "Would the tinman rather be dead?" Seeing the wizard would not budge the tinman finally turned. He didn't know then the heart he'd recieved would cause mere words to burn. He spent his life in emotions he had not known before. Works like "Romeo and Juliet" crushed him to the core.
