 DC and Pawl...thanks for the post...I have a daughter in the military who will deploy in the beginning of next year if not sooner. I wish the war would end quicky also. I still think we need to support our troops but, find a diplomatic way to get out...

If anyone finds these remarks offensive. Well, that is what this thread is about. People can take what they agree with or post their opinion.

DC i have seen few people who are asked to leave this site. I think the only reason would be if they were threatening someone harm, using extremely offensive language, or posting sexually explicit materials. The moderator or administrator usually gets involved and tries to get the person to calm down or gives a warning to tone it down.

I would defend your right to give your opinion about religion, politics, or the tea in china...it is your opinion. hugs to you and Pawl...

 Thank you, Norma. I agree that everyone should be allowed to express an opinion, but I am a firm believer that it can be done without rancor and venom. That is where I crossed the line, and why I censored myself.

I have been thinking about your daughter. I really hope they ALL get to either come home or stay home before that time comes.

I also agree with you about Iraq. I feel for the families who have lost loved ones in this war. It is also affecting our economy. It has been difficult for everyone.

 I also want to say, that, I also support our troups. I was a taxi driver before, I had my fall out with the bipolar, and I gave an officer a ride. I asked him what he thought about the war. He said that maybe, we wont have to go back. I thought he made a good point.

I really have no idea what this guy thought he read but I don't recall saying anything suicidal.

my opinion is this...if you can't say something nice....don't say anything at all.

 P8nt, I may have just violated the sanctity of your diary, and I am sorry for that, but your post here pissed me off that the shit head in question could have posted something like that in there.. I don't know what the A-holes problem is, but he had no right to post that, your diary is just that, YOUR diary, and Norma, I could not forget it.. made me mad...

I am sorry I posted on your diary, too. I hope I didn't say anything that upset you.

I normally try to give folks the benefit of the doubt, but this guy had no right to say something so hurtful to you. He doesn't even have a bio posted so maybe he is a tourist. He should at least have the courage to talk it out with you, and explain why he said that.

I would be upset if it were me. Try not to let it get you down.
