MDJunction to me

mabri"When I was diagnosed about 18 months ago with fibromyalgia, I didn't know where to turn. I got on my computer and looked for a support group where I could talk to other people with the same disease and get some help...Information, suggestions, mostly just what I can do now that I have this.....disorder/disease/syndrome...I didn't even know what to call it. I found MDJ, and yes, there was a support group for fibro. I started a post, and figured I would never get an answer. However, very quickly I was welcomed in, and became really involved in the group. I received help, support, friendship and the feeling of being truly cared about by these strangers who had become like family to me. Now, I have been here for about a year and a half...I have become a group leader, and love every minute of it. It is so wonderful to be able to help others. I still receive help and answers from the members in this group. The fibromyalgia is where I go to help, support, listen, care and even laugh. I don't know what I would do without this group." it affects to me.im getting hypomanic and angry.during this supermoon ,i actually had all the possible mood changes in 2 days.and most likely a mixed ,even i havent had them since i started my meds.in all of that chaos ,i laughed with my husband that thank god i didnt have depression, that it was the only moodswing i didnt have.and BANG after 4 hours ,i plunged into the extra deep depression, crying constantly over nothing.and yes stickypaws, youre right ,we are 65% water.so if it affects to tide why not us.i read ages ago that one scientist said that if full moon doesnt affect to humans, then human is the only living organism in this planet who full moon doesnt affect to.term lunatic comes from the moon=luna.ancient ppl knew that it affects.Smile

When I was teaching swimming you could figure out it was a full moon just from the kids behaviour. As I watch the kids at dancing, same deal. I have a diary that lists the moon phases. I refer to it when I see the kids mucking up, and it almost always matches up.

At full moon the idiots come out in force. Probably co-inciding with me being aggro and intolerant.

Wind sets the kids off too, and increases my anxiety or depression.

I am not sick, I am enhanced.

People say these things take time. I say a nanosecond should be long enough.

Lamotragine 150mg bd; Dex 10mg 3x daily; Seroquel XR 300mg; Seroquel 25mg-50mg prn; Lexapro 2.5mg

I don't burn the candle at both ends,
I break it in half so I can burn all four.

Sorry, my magic wand is broken. You'll have to see a doctor instead.

Remember the term LUNATIC comes from the word LUNA- the moon.
