If you believe in prayers or even just the power of strong thoughts and 'vibes' for health please send some out for my younger sister April.

She is only 27 and was diagnosed with a leaky heart valve 10 years ago, then MS one year ago. Yesterday she was diagnosed as also having Parkinsons, which runs on both sides of my family.

To be honest, I am almost embarrassed to ask as her problems are so much bigger than mine but I could use a hug or a prayer or two myself. This news really through me for a loop yesterday and was a big mood trigger.

I am almost embarrassed to say that she handled it better than me I think.

Thank you for reading.

I will pray for both of you too, Centerseeker. I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. I'm sure hearing that news would throw anyone for a loop.

Thank you for your prayers. This is all just so much to digest.

My grandfather on one side had parkinsons and my uncle on the other has it so unfortunetly we've all seen it up close. Add it to the heart and MS and I just don't know what road she is looking at but I know it will be a tough one.

Prayers being said.
* When nothing goes right...go left
* Attach your own oxygen mask before assisting others
* Women are not that complicated. How hard is it to tell us
we are pretty and give us chocolate?
* Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting their own battle.
* Worrying doesn't empty tomorrow of its troubles. It empties today of its strength.
