Barb I use a cell I bought in a Kroger's store. It's pay as you go but you can put it on a plan if you want. You buy a card when you go to the store ($10-$50)and just call it in on your phone and get more time.

Didn't say I was the "norm," Bob, hehe. I guess I just like to be different.

It is, actually, the norm. They've ripped out almost all the pay phones at stores and restaurants. There are no phone booths anymore ...

Lol, Bob!!

Thanks, Ralph. I know it's simple. See, the thing is, I know I'm gonna' want to get something with all the darn bells and whistles if I get one. I should just pick up a Tracphone at the local grocery store. It'd be something to have, at least.

I'm just being slow and stubborn.

My sister has one with"All the bells and whistles". Only problem is it outsmarts her all the time. I'll stick with my Rumors2 until they send me my free up-grade phone.

I have no idea which part of this big world you live in, but I'm sure everyone has problems with the mental health care system... unless they have mega $$$$$.

Bob, I hope you get a reasonable response to the email you sent to the MH pro. Is there anybody in your family that can come and just be there with you? Would that help to be around them now, or would it just make things worse?
