MDJunction to me

Macv"For me, MDjunction has been a place where I can share my experiences
living with the very rare bone disease called Ollier's ( Enchondromatosis ) with the parents of children recently diagnosed. I can help them not to run
into the pitfalls my parents did when I was young, give them a bit of a view
from their child's perspective and simply be there to offer support and
hope to people who are scared and just had their lives upended. I also belong to a chronic pain group and it's been a Godsend to be able to actually
talk with others who understand what I'm dealing with. Besides them helping me through my tough times, I can be there to help them as well. Here too, I can use my years of experience to help others avoid pitfalls and it makes me feel good, gives my life more purpose. MDjunction brings people
together when their suffering, at their darkest and feeling alone in this world and allows some light to be brought back into their lives. HOPE, that's what
MDjunction means to me!

Here's the deal, if you opened this thread you have to do one thing you have been putting off. It could be a be anything, a cleaned closet, a washed lunch plate, a returned call, the weeks meds laid out. No act is too big or too small.

Once you finish your task, read the post of the person ahead of you and cheer for them then post your own accomplishment.

You can revisit the thread as often as you wish.

I hope this catches on. We did it at a board I used to be a member of years ago and had a lot of fun with it. (not to mention all of our accomplishmentsSmile !

I'll be the first to play my own game. I mixed up and put in the oven a quiche for lunch with my mother-in-law tomorrow. I hope it comes out.

(off topic...it's a zucchini quiche. Zucchini in the winter is crazy expensive)

Yay for walking dogs in the cold! It's hard to get motivated for that when it's only 18!

I finally cleaned my bus station looking upstairs bathroom.

Good for you for cleaning your bathroom. I know mine has towels scattered all over the place. Need to do that next.

I accomplished laying down Weed-N-Feed in the yard to get rid of the weeds.

That's a big job - yard care. I applaud you for getting it done.

I rode my exercise bike for 9 minutes today. Could only manage 4 on Friday. I hate exercise.

Good for you OCDMD! I hate exercise too. But it does help moodwise.

I've been surprisingly good lately so my accomplishment is kinda lame but I finally took my netflix dvd out of the player so I can send it off. It's been sitting in there all week. Smile
