During the course of my illness, having felt so bad, I had let my driver's license expire. I've now gotten it renewed online and next I have to go to the local driver's license office to get my new photo license done. Then I'll be able to drive again. I plan to rent a car and make plans with my friend in Connecticut to drive up there and visit her sometime in the next couple of months.

I'm thinking about leasing a car to have one available on a regular basis for a while and see if I eventually want to buy one.

Also, I'm thinking about trying to find a part-time job.

I've been trying to help Richard work through some of his depression issues. It's hard, but he is really trying to make some progress. We see a pdoc. for him in Nov. to see about getting his depression meds. adjusted.

Also, had to take one of my cats to the Vet. They think something's wrong with her liver, but short of doing surgery to take a biopsy, they haven't been able to determine what's going on. I don't want to have the surgery done. She's fifteen years-old. I don't want to put her, or me, through all that. So, we have her on a food supplement to help support liver function and we're going back in a month to do some tests over again and see if there's any change in her results.

I am so sorry that Richard is struggling.

I think it would be great for you to have a car.

Thanks very much, Dani! I'm excited to be driving again. The trip to Philly for the reunion made me realize how much I enjoy traveling. I want to do more of it! Smile

Thanks, re: my cat. She's still in good spirits, and aside from some pretty significant weight loss, you wouldn't know anything was the matter with her. She had stopped eating, but I've found some new food that she seems to like, so I'm happy to see her chowing down again! She's so cute! She came up on the bed with me the other morning and tapped me on the arm to wake me. She wanted to be fed!
