MDJunction to me

Hazeldee"MDJunction means that I no longer have to feel like I am the only person in
the world with pericarditis. It means that I can talk to others who know
how stressful and how painful having pericarditis can be. It means that I
connect with others to discuss treatments that have or haven't worked for us, so that we have a leg to stand on. I think that having my friends at
MDJunction has allowed me to better mentally and emotionally process my
diagnosis and what it means to me. I feel so lucky to have this community
available to me. I use MDJunction as a way to use my experience to help
others. Reaching out to help others is the only solace I have found since
being diagnosed with pericarditis.

Hoping to fall asleep soon. Need to find a good "one star" movie to send me into dreamland.

I try to find REALLY bad comedic fare, like some of those SNL movies that should have never been made. Last night/this morning was "Superstar," with Molly Shannon. I didn't expect it to make me chuckle as much as I did though. Sometimes those bad comedies have brilliant support people. I fell asleep about halfway through, and I didn't mind the laugh before sleep. Couldn't hurt my mood, I suppose.

Thanks for the tip Norma. I've ACTUALLY pondered that many times.

Just read your diary Trishy...I am so sorry you feel depressed right now...that is the pits....I just hate it. You are one of the sweetest people here. You make it a point to greet people and make them feel welcome. It just breaks my heart that you are down...wish I had some magic fairy dust that I could sprinkle over you and it would lift that depression right off of your shoulders, Honey.

Kevin...

If you want to laugh your ass off, watch Idiocracy...my daughter brought it for the holidays...it made me laugh so much I cried...it is set in the future and is too funny...
