One of my favorite songs is :

Soak up the sun by Cheryl Crow

I like this song because it has a nice, uplifting beat and I can relate to the lyrics. Here are a few lyrics:

My friend the communist

Holds meetings in his RV

I can't afford his gas

So I'm stuck here watching TV

I don't have digital

I don't have diddly squat

It's not having what you want

It's wanting what you've got

Whenever I feel down this song lifts my spirits....

Smile

One of the songs that helps me when I am in manic state is " Take it Easy" by The Eagles.

I have several depending on where I am at when I need music, but one song that is really great for me is "Slow Fade" by Casting Crowns. It basically says that you did not get where you are quickly and things are not going to change quickly, it is a slow fade. (Rome was not built in a day)
My best day is worse than the worst day you have ever imagined.
