Good Morning everyone, hope everyone is doing well today, we survived the elections, I was amazed at some of the time people had to spend in line to vote, I am grateful for the short time it took me, got there 15 mins early, waited in line, and was out of there in under 15 mins. Had Glenn gone with me, he would not have had to wait 45 mins, like he ended up doing, lol, been giving him a hard time about that ever since.

So how are all this morning?

Morning Carmen, dear...i am just waking up. getting a cup of coffee...

sure do love my coffee in the morning, can't wait for the first cup, have to steal it out of the pot before it is finished brewing.

I didn't have to wait in line at all there were only 2 other people voting. There were 3 ladies, none under the age of 80 who were the election officials at the small voting place where I vote. They were so cute, had the table all set up looked like a tea party. Had candies wrapped in little papers with the American flag...flag table cloth, and a center piece with flags and stars..nice...

we have a new president, I hope for him that he is granted wisdom and serves with honor and integrity. That is all we can ask of any president...

I am fine this morning...went to bed early and woke up early...how are you, Carmen. Hope you get the weekend off..

Morning Norma, Morning Trishy, Thanks Norma for linking the other thread, hadn't got to that yet, was trying to catch up with yesterdays thread. "63" pages, way to go.

I believe I have the weekend off, so looking forward to that.. not sure what I am going to do with it, lol, but will figure out something. Still need to go out to the brothers and paint his step, and look to see what needs to be done to weather proof that house, I can't believe it is already 630, feels like I just got up 10 mins ago.

Hopefully the rest of the day goes as quick as the morning has. Guess I ought to consider getting dressed and ready to go, y'all have a wonderful day, I was happy to hear that Auto went to the hospital, been in with the rest of you in pm's bugging him about it.

Carmen...when you paint the step, if you have icy conditions in the winter, see if you can't put something that has traction in the paint. Or if there is a nonslip strip you can attach to the step before painting it so the paint doesn't make it slick. just a thought, i think it is so sweet you are caring for your brother, hope he is doing ok...

Hope you find some time do do for yourself, C...something relaxing.

Trishy...getting some coffee??? I am on my 3rd cup, I usually guzzle the first two down fast...to get a jump start...

Hi norma, carmen, Trishy. Good morning to you. Congratulations for your new president (whatever side you supported). Hope he does a better job than JWB. People here in Europe are very expectant about the performance and true will of change of Obama.
