"My love has bipolar" (Euripides)

MDJunction to me

ThereseML"When I first came to MDJ, I was in need of peer support in dealing with issues of my childhood abuse. I was moving away from the painful issues and trying to find an uplifting group of people to help me transition to a thriver in my life. I found that here. I also found a group of peers with Fibromyalgia and found the same uplifting experience there. My computer crashed and it was a while before I found my way back, this time with issues related to Parkinson's Disease. I had tried a few other support sites before reminding myself of MDJ. On those, I never got a reply. I finally found my way back here and again found very supportive, caring and inspiring people who made me feel like I was 'back home'. Indeed I am." (ThereseML)

Are you thinking you may not be able to handle the job, or is it just the number of hours and the getting up so early??

It'd be a shame if you couldn't manage it somehow. You were so happy when you first got this job ...

W00t to cleaning litter boxes!! I always do it after I take my Ambien for the night. That way it doesn't bother me as much to do them. I'm half awake and don't remember much, so somehow that makes it less stressful.

I'm doing ok now, but some of the kids get to me and I wonder how I can handle the discipline. I think I can do it, but I'm scared I will blow and start crying.

Yeah, I was happy. She made it sound more glamourous than it is. Right now I just go to differnt school sites and help out. I feel like I should be getting more responsibility. But supposably down the road.

Awww ... That's terrible, to be trying to work and have that fear hanging over you ... You've been doing well so far though ... I can understand how you might feel that way. I don't know if this will help, but I think you have it in you to manage it.

Some of the kids are in 5/6th grades and are bored. They resent being there and start acting up to get attention. Also the spats between them get to be too much.

Hmm ... that is disappointing. What kind of stuff did she imply that you'd be doing other than what you are doing now?
