MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Morning Carmen...hope you got some quality porch time this morning.

glenn thanks for the pics...always love them.

Countrymouse Morning sweetie

Morning Deb...have a good one

We are back to hurricane watch again...not sure about Ike...just have to wait and watch. Poor folks in LA are just digging out. A lot of our employees over there are still without electricity from Gustav.

But, old Ike seems to have track that takes it on the same path as Hurricane Rita had three years ago. Too soon to tell...Hope our friends in Florida are ok...

Hugs to all and have a great Sunday to those who pass through here.

Good morning all. Hoping ol Ike doesn't visit north LA. Ike was my husband's granddaddies name, but he doesn't need to visit us, we can visit him in the graveyard down the road LOL Seriously, keeping an eye out. We just got the shelters emptied out here and I think it's going to be hard to get those south Louisianian's to evacuate again.

I'm on a reading binge this past week, I'm re-reading books cause I have read everything I got from the library. It's been months and months since I've been able to get through one book and here I go through 6 in less than a week. Amazing what happens when you decrease the seroquel from 400mg to 50mg.

Well y'all have a great day today, another sunny day here, so nice after a week of rainy gray days.

Somedays it's not worth chewing through the restraints!

MrsJ...i think Ike may be coming our way. It may be hard to get people to evacuate here too, since we just evacuated last week and got none of the storm except some wind and rain. I think a lot of folks are going to stay and just hunker down. The memory of the aftermath of Hurricane Rita is not a good one. No electricity for 3-4 weeks. It was not a fun time. I don't want to see anyone get this storm.

Well, I'm back from church...My mom was the guest minister today. For a women who's been preaching at me my whole life it's still weird to see her at the pulpit lolol!

And to all of you who are expecting MORE hurricanes, please be safe & take measures to protect your homes.... I'm sending you good vibes.

We caught the tail end of Hannah last night... she wasn't so mean. I could have kicked her ass. HA HA

Winds were about 60 mph & heavy rain, no big deal. We lost power a couple of times, but thats about it.

Poor amom - she was headed to Maine for a romantic weekend with hubby and Hannah was headed straight up the New England coast - hope it didn't ruin her plans....
